Maintaining both mental and physical well-being has become increasingly challenging in today's fast-paced society. The ease and speed of accessing food, coupled with the overwhelming flow of information, often disrupt the equilibrium necessary for long-term health. Despite spending five years delving into fitness information and tutorial videos, I've come to realize that relying solely on online tutorials may not be optimal, especially for newcomers, as they lack personalized guidance.

To address this gap, I am introducing FitMeet—an online matching system that connects individuals with professionals in the wellness and health industry.

Envision it as the Airbnb for personal well-being, offering you access to the ideal professional – whether it's a fitness trainer or meditation instructor – uniquely suited to cater to your specific needs and goals. FitMeet aims to provide a personalized and effective approach to achieving both mental and physical health in our fast-paced world.

In its initial product stage, FitMeet actively gathers comprehensive professional information through a combination of in-person visits and online interactions. Professionals are encouraged to fill out a detailed application form, providing insights into their work experience, problem-solving approaches for individuals, availability, and service pricing. This personalized approach ensures that users can gain a holistic understanding of each professional's background and offerings.

Subsequently, FitMeet presents this curated information on individual client pages, allowing users to effortlessly browse through the basic details of various professionals. Crucial information, such as experiences, available time slots, cost, and services provided, serves as a decisive factor motivating users to delve deeper into the professional profiles.

To enhance user experience, a filtering function is integrated on the client page. Users can input specific criteria such as price range, budget, or preferred occupation to refine their search. It is noteworthy that the effectiveness of this filter function may be limited in the initial stages of the platform, given the relatively low number of professionals available. Nevertheless, there are plans to expand the filter function into a series of targeted questions, eventually leading to customized professional recommendations.

The platform is built with React and firebase. Given its status as an MVP designed to validate the concept, I opted for the framework with which I am most familiar and a database that can be easily set up.

As of March 2024, the primary objective in the current phase is to validate the viability of the platform idea. To achieve this, I am planning to undertake three key initiatives to validate this platform idea:

1. Implementation of English Version.
2. Talk to user.
3. Onboard more professionals.
